Tata Indicom Nodal Authority
The Nodal Officer is a very important and highly responsible position and the person who holds this position in each circle is monitored by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, or in Short form TRAI. If you as a user are dissatisfied with any of the above mentioned complaint redressal mechanism, you can find the contact of the Nodal Officer of your Circle (That is the Area within which you use Tata Indicom Product or Service) and escalate the complaint to this authority. As per TRAI’s Quality Of Service (QOS) Manual, Nodal Officer is expected to resolve your complaint / dispute within a time bound manner. If your problem is of much complex, much larger and very serious in nature then you have some more options, which are provided underneath. Customers can send SMS “HELPLINE” to 121 (Postpaid) and 12524 (Prepaid) to get the respective Circle Customer care and Nodal officer details.
Tata Indicom Appellate Authority
Office of the Appellate Authority for Tata Teleservices Limited and Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited (Constituted under the provisions of the Telecom Consumers Protection and Redressal of Grievances Regulations, 2007 (3 of 2007). There is a due procedure which needs to be followed to approach this authority. First you will have to download a form called “TRAI Format For Consumer Protection & Redressal Form” from the Tata Indicom Customer Care webpage. Fill it in its entirety and follow the given procedure.
Procedure for making appeals before the Appellate Authority
- Appeal must be in the format prescribed in the regulation (in duplicate)
- Every appeal must be filed within 3 Months from the date of decision of the Nodal Officer.
- All appeals are generally disposed of within 3 Months from the date of filing of appeal.
- Appeals only against the decision of the Nodal Officer are maintainable before the Appellate Authority, no other appeal / direct complaint shall be entertained.
- For detailed procedure on disposal of appeals by Appellate Authority please refer the TRAI Regulation on Consumer Protection and Redressal for Grievances (3 of 2007)
